Once the preliminary schedule is sent out, that is the opportunity to review and make adjustments or corrections in routine information. We also recommend reviewing your entries on Dancebug after completing the registration. Once the review window for the preliminary schedule closes, we are not able to make changes as the competition must be locked for preparation of the event.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for mistakes that were not adjusted in the review window provided. Destiny will also not be responsible to enter routine information without a 10% administrative fee.
- Refunds can only be issued prior to June 7th, 2021 with proof of an injury or incident with a doctor's note, Absolutely no refunds will be issued after June 7th for any reasons whatsoever so long as the competition runs.
RECORDING
GUIDELINES
- All recordings should be shot in 1080p quality. iPhone or Samsung are capturing in this quality or you can use a videographer with a professional camera.
- The videos need to be recorded horizontally.
- The videos should be recorded on a tripod to avoid any movement.
- The video can be recorded from a front angle for the adjudicators to see if as they would on a stage. Make sure not to be too far away so we can see their facial expressions.
- Entrance and exits are encouraged for each routine.
- Edits (text or effects) are NOT permitted.
- Music can be played over a speaker loudly, the adjudicators need to hear the music clearly.
- Tap routines can have a board to ensure we can hear the clarity of the dancer's footwork. Use your discretion.
- There should be no excess noise or movement surrounding the video.
- Teachers/choreographers should not be counting or cueing their dancers in the video.
- We are here to help! If you have any questions or need to advice, we are available to support you with this new process.
